The JCUD Committee has recently approved the creation of a new JCUD Working group dedicated to urban drainage asset management.
An international and very sympatic team will lead this working group: Nicolas Caradot (chair) from KWB Berlin, Frédéric Cherqui (vice-chair) from INSA Lyon / University of Melbourne, and Franz Tscheikner-Gratl (secretary) from TU Delft.
The working group missions are to:
- Focus on urban drainage assets: pipes, manholes, stormwater control measures, etc.
- Raise awareness on asset management in the urban drainage context;
- Increase the visibility of / interactions with urban drainage asset management within the urban drainage and water communities; and
- Create links with other JCUD and IWA specialists groups.
Activities have already started and the group is open to anyone interested.
The next meetings will take place in 2019 during the major ICUD conferences (Novatech, SPN) and during the next EURO-SAM workshop.
If you want to get involved or want more information, please fill in the form here.
